Human Resources Manager – Part Time
25 hours per week/On Site

South Metro Federal Credit Union, a fast growing, successful credit union in the south metro area is seeking someone highly experienced in Human Resources Manager to join our team.

Benefits are prorated based on the 25 hours per week.

As a valued colleague of SMFCU, you play a critical role in delivering an exceptional Employee experience during her/his /their career. South Metro currently has a staff of 30.

Manage the day-to-day human resource functions of the credit union. Administer and monitor human resource programs and ensure compliance with credit union policies as well as external rules and regulations. Participate in developing department systems, goals, and objectives. Manage department staff. Provide staff and managers with an effective resource for resolution of employee relations issues.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and administer various human resources plans and procedures for the credit union. Keep abreast of changing trends or regulations and react quickly to incorporate those changes into the credit union.
  • Plan and organize the development of systems, goals, and objectives.
  • Implement and annually update compensation program, rewrite job descriptions as necessary, conduct and review annual salary surveys, develop salary budget, analyze compensation, and monitor performance evaluation program and revise as necessary.
  • Develop, recommend, and implement personnel policies and procedures. Maintain handbook on policies and procedures. Provide guidance on managing to policies.
  • Perform benefits administration to include claims resolution, change reporting, approving invoices for payment, annual re-evaluation of policies for cost effectiveness, and information activities programs.
  • May assist in development and maintenance of affirmative action program. Maintain and file necessary records, reports, and logs to conform to equal employment opportunity regulations.
  • Conduct recruitment effort for all exempt and nonexempt employees. Create effective advertising strategies, utilize Internet resources, and interview and evaluate candidates. Monitor effectiveness of recruitment and coach managers in the process.
  • Conduct new-employee orientations; monitor career path programs; provide employee relations counseling, outplacement counseling, and exit interviewing.
  • Establish and maintain department records and reports. Participate in administrative staff meetings and attends other meetings, such as seminars. Maintain company organization charts and employee directory.
  • Enter biweekly payroll information, maintain payroll software (Paylocity).
  • Assist president in various administrative duties.

Member Service Representative – On-Site, Full-time

South Metro Federal Credit Union is seeking an experienced Member Service Representative to join our team. As a valued colleague of SMFCU, you play a critical role in delivering an exceptional Member experience during every interaction. This unique position requires an individual who has a strong commitment to consultative Member service, in an environment where growth is occurring in all business lines.

A partial list of responsibilities includes:

  • Acting as a point of first impression for SMFCU, this individual must possess and deliver a commitment to Member service, satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Engaging and building strong relationships with new and existing Members to effectively identify and make recommendations to solve their financial needs: including, but not limited to, new products, services and technology based solutions.
  • Accurately processing transactions related to teller services.
  • Making referrals to other departments within the Credit Union as appropriate, such as consumer lending, mortgage lending and business lending.
  • Operating in full compliance with internal policies and procedures, as well as applicable regulations and laws.

Qualifications:

  • Banking: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Customer service: 1 year (Required)
