Smart Branches

SMFCU's Smart Branches feature our electronic teller named TOM, the "Teller Online Machine". TOM can get your account balance, withdraw funds by cash or check, apply for loans, accept your deposits, open an account, and much, much more. TOM accepts your SMFCU ATM/Visa Check cards, Art-24 Pin and also allows you access with your fingerprint verification. 

SMFCU members can do most anything at TOM that you could do a live teller because the biometrics (the fingerprint verification) performs the positive identification step.

To use TOM for the first time, members must have a SMFCU ATM/Debit (Visa Check) card or be enrolled in home banking or telephone banking services. Your account is verified once you use your Personal Identification Number (PIN) from your ATM/Debit (Visa Check) card or pin from home banking/telephone access services.

If you're a South Metro Federal Credit Union member who travels, you'll be pleased to know that SMFCU joined credit unions across the United States (and 5 foreign locations) to offer members more convenience by sharing locations. 

You can make deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and get account histories from a live person. Simply visit any of the Shared Service Centers listed below (or at the www.cuservicecenter.com Web site). Present a photo ID, state you are a member of South Metro Federal Credit Union, and give them your member number. 

Within seconds, they will have your balances and can complete your transaction for you. If you have a problem completing a transaction - the Credit Union Service Center will offer you a phone to contact us.
